The Jaw

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is a complex part of the body—discomfort and reduced function can seriously impact a person’s life and contribute to headaches and neck tension. I have taken specialized training for assessing and treating the structures of the face and within the mouth. This treatment can be helpful for reducing tension, clenching, grinding, clicking and popping.

*intra-oral work is done with the practitioner wearing gloves and massaging muscles within the mouth. This service is available but also optional

Nervous System Regulation

My massage style is often described as “meditative” and “spacious.” The main intention of my approach is to support nervous system regulation, balancing anatomical focus with systemic relaxation. My style is highly adaptive and focused on subtlety. I do not teach specific regulation practices, instead I offer a responsive, steady presence as a means to support your body towards expansion. That said, if you have found past massages uncomfortable or unenjoyable, I will gladly take things at your pace and include more dialogue as we explore techniques in order to develop an approach that is right for you.

The Abdomen

Digestive concerns and accumulated stress and emotional tension can contribute to discomfort in the centre of the body. Working with the muscular layers and organs of the abdomen can be the missing link in back pain resolution, constipation, scar mobilization and body connectivity. I have trained to massage the belly in a safe and focussed manner that acknowledges the potential sensitivity of this area and the interconnectivity of its structures.
